The strong front we've been forecasting for days has made its way through North Texas.

The coldest air of the season will be arriving over the next few nights. We should fall into the 20s and 30s Monday night.

A weak disturbance delivered snow flurries across North Texas early Monday, mainly between 2AM and 8AM to areas northwest of Dallas and Fort Worth.

Clouds should break up by Monday afternoon and evening as drier air builds in. Monday night will be the coldest of the week with temperatures likely in the teens and 20s. Look for a slow warming trend with 60s and a chance for rain by Friday.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, windy and much colder, with a few snow flurries possible after midnight, mainly NW of the Metroplex. Low: 28. Wind: NW 15-25 mph.

MONDAY: Windy and much colder with snow flurries possible early AM. Decreasing clouds by afternoon. High: 46. Wind: NW 10-25 mph.

TUESDAY: Sunny and cold. Low: 23. High: 48. Wind: NW/S 5 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and cool. Low: 30. High: 55. Wind: S 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY: Increasing clouds and breezy. Low: 35. High: 62. Wind: S 10-15 mph.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy, windy and a little warmer. Small chance for showers & storms. Low: 47. High: 64. Wind: S 10-20 mph.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. Low: 49. High: 63. Wind: S/N 15 mph.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny & dry. Low: 41. High: 60. Wind: NW 10-15 mph.
