Man Rescued From Submerged Car
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said there was only one vehicle involved in the crash near Belt Line Road and East Tripp Road in the unincorporated part of Dallas County.
An investigation is underway as Dallas County emergency crews try to recover a truck that crashed into a creek on Tuesday night.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said there was only one vehicle involved in the crash near Belt Line Road and East Tripp Road.
Investigators said the truck crashed into the culvert around 9 p.m. Tuesday night and completely went under water.
Sunnyvale firefighters were able to pull one man from the car, but they do not know if anyone else was inside.
That person has been transported to Dallas Regional Hospital in Mesquite.
Emergency crews are using divers to gather more information about the vehicle.
Authorities do not know what caused the crash.
Recovery efforts were hindered Tuesday night after a cable being used by the emergency crews to pull the vehicle from the water snapped.
Crews will be back out at the scene attempting to pull the vehicle out around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
