Dallas police say a man was shot and killed in his home in the 3900 block of Sonora Avenue.
The first call for help came around 2:20 a.m.
The man was shot in the upper chest and taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died, police said.
No suspect information has been developed this early in the investigation. There were others inside the home at the time of the shooting, police said.
